AWDMed Calcium Alginate Dressing
- Made of natural fiber gain from seaweed. It is designed to be highly, fast absorbent.
- It absorbs wound, maintaining a moist wound healing environment with accelerates healing process and helps to stop bleeding.
- Gel-like surface also keeps the dressing from adhering to the wound and it is painless removal.
How to use ?
- Clean the wounds with sterile water or saline solution and dry the surrounding skin gently.
- Choose the right size of dressing according to wound area. If necessary, cut dressing to size using sterile scissors.
- A secondary dressing is necessary when using calcium alginates.
- If the wound appears dry, saturate the dressing with sterile saline prior to removal.

Product Indications
- Diabetic ulcer
- Venous/arterial leg ulcer
- Donor sites
- Post-surgical wounds
- Pressure sores
- Moderately to heavily draining wounds, cavity wounds.
Product Contraindications
- AWDMed Calcium Alginate Dressing is not recommended to be applied to wounds that need surgical to achieve hemostasis.
- Do not use this product to dry wounds.
- This product is single use. Do not use if package is damaged.
- Do not use this product when the wound is infected.
- If redness or allergic symptoms appear, please stop using this product.
- Single product cannot stayed on wound for more than 7days, and the product using continuously can not be exceed 30days.
